I am Joanita Amegashie.
People call me Madam Digital.
I help people and organisations use digital tools without fear. Not the polished version you see online, the real version where there are 3,000 unread emails, a page that will not grow and a website that keeps getting postponed.
Everything I share comes from doing the work. Strategy for organisations, content systems for founders, training for teams, and honest answers for anyone who asks.
How I got here.
Four chapters, each one built on the last.
A classroom and a laptop
I studied Education with a minor in Information Studies at the University of Ghana. I learned digital the long way, one tool, one mistake and one late night at a time. Nobody explained it simply, so I decided that when I understood something I would explain it the way I had needed it explained.
Learning in public
I built and grew online communities, ran brand social channels and managed content operations. That is where I learned that strategy without execution is decoration, and that most teams do not need more tips, they need a working system.
Campaigns that had to work
I led digital communications and campaign delivery for nonprofit and social impact teams, with real budgets, real deadlines and real reporting. Paid media, content calendars, analytics and training for the people who had to keep it running after I left.
Madam Digital
Digital strategy, content systems and platform builds for founders, teams and organisations, alongside an MA in Digital and Strategic Marketing Management at UPSA. Madam Digital is where the teaching and the strategy finally live in one place.
Three things I do not compromise on.
No question is too basic
Every expert was once the person who did not know where the settings menu was. I answer accordingly.
Plain language, always
If a strategy cannot be explained to the person who has to execute it, it is not a strategy yet.
Systems over tips
A single clever post fades. A repeatable content and reporting system compounds.
